Now Accepting Letters of Inquiry for Education Grants

United Way of Pickens County is currently accepting Letters of Inquiry for Education grants to support programs designed to improve 3rd grade reading in Pickens County.

LOI's should address how proposed programs will positively impact 3rd grade reading in Pickens County, should demonstrate measurable results, and should specify the population served. Programs that involve parental engagement and make efforts to reach out to underrepresented and/or marginalized populations are encouraged.

Potential funded programs could include, but are not limited to, after school programs, tutoring/mentoring, summer reading programs, PK-3rd grade literacy instruction, and family empowerment.

Grants will be awarded in July 2025 and will range from $5,000 to $20,000 per program per year.

United Way Education Impact Council volunteers will review all Letters of Inquiry and invite approved applicants to submit a full grant application.

Letters of Inquiry are due by March 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m., and the grant year will begin in July 2025.
