Teresa Nash, Success Coach for the United Way of Pickens County's Pathways program, successfully completed the course requirements and has earned the title of Accredited Financial Counselor by the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education. The mission of the AFCPE is to ensure the highest level of knowledge, skill and integrity of the personal finance profession by certifying, connecting and supporting diverse and capable professionals who serve communities worldwide.
The Pathways programs is a 6-18 month intensive, one-on-one financial coaching program designed to equip hardworking, low-income Pickens County individuals and families with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to achieve freedom over finances. Pathways focuses on budgeting, debt management, asset-building, credit and more.
